Clinical and Reflective Supervision for Therapists
I provide clinical and reflective supervision under the mentorship of AAMFT Approved Supervisor Becky Hiller, LMFT. I am an AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate as well as an AAMFT Clinical Fellow and Professional Member. I am approved by WI DSPS to supervise MFT-ITs.
My approach to supervision is informed by beliefs and theories that are systemic, anti-punitive, collaborative, justice centered, intersectional, self-reflective, and integrative.
I believe that supervisees are best supported by understanding the container in which supervision is experienced. Before committing to providing supervision to any supervisee, I meet with supervisees to determine if my approach, skillset, and framework fit the supervisee's needs as a growing therapist.
In clinical and reflective supervision, some of what I support supervisees with is:
Clinical consultation and case conceptualization regarding clients.
Self-of-the-therapist reflection and processing impact of work as a therapist.
Administrative development, including note writing and treatment plan development.
Comprehension, evaluation, and application of AAMFT code of ethics and AAMFT core competencies.
Determination of how to establish work/life balance through boundary setting, work load management, and identifying accommodations unique to the supervisee that can support harmonious work flow.
Preparation for taking the AMFTRB National Exam of Marriage and Family Therapy.
If you think we might be a good fit, please reach out.
