Queer/Trans Consultation Group
with Nova Zeldin, LMFT (they/them) and Alej Perez-Kohl, LMFT (they/them)
Facilitated by AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidates Nova Zeldin, LMFT, and Alej Perez-Kohl, LMFT, of Forward Counseling and Consultation. Join us for a collaborative space where LGBTQIA2S+ (questioning included) clinicians are invited to engage in both clinical and reflective consultation. Alej and Nova take a systemic, abolitionist, justice-centered, and intersectional approach to clinical and reflective consultation.
The goal of this consultation space is to create a robust network of support and resources for clinicians to use with their LGBTQIA2S+ clients, improving our therapeutic approaches, and increasing access to care for LGBTQIA2S+ community members. It is also a space for us to come together as Queer and Trans clinicians to explore our own needs and supports.
This group is for clinicians who identify as being a part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community who would like to be in community with other clinicians navigating how to support LGBTQIA2S+ clients, how to balance and process systemic concerns that impact the self of the therapist as well as the clients we are working with, and any other clinical or reflective content that is important to address.
